The 21-member board is responsible for organizing NCAC-APA events, such as local planning conferences, awards ceremonies, social happy hours, volunteer opportunities, and CM & AICP training. The board also promotes planning in the community and encourages professional development within the industry.
Terms are two years in duration and require attendance at monthly board meetings and participation in chapter activities. Elections occurred in 2018 for the January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2020 term.
